06 Apr 2021

Description

DISCLAIMER: I am no medical doctor, I'm just your normal Jo Bloggs who's sharing her lived experiences with Autism that was called Aspergers.  If you see any warning signs/symptoms that may be related to any of the topics I share as of in the future, please seek a second opinion or treatment with a  medical professional. What I share with you in how I go about managing my autism will vary from person to person and that what may work for me, may not work for you and what will work for you may not work for me and vice versa. So, please be considerate while I give you all my advice and/or tips. A few days ago on April 2nd was World Autism Awareness Day, but should we really be focusing on autism awareness in 2019,  or is it time for acceptance? Do I 'Light It Up Blue?' What do I wish for this special month? What is more important to me?  Today I talk about some of the complicated feelings that I have each year on April 2nd as an Aspie.  I think that April can be an important month for Autism. But I also think that we need to approach it carefully. Please bear in mind to what I share in this video are based on my own thoughts, opinions and experiences and that I hope that we can respect each other's opinions and much more here as I've always shared before that I am willing to accept everyone's differences of who and what they are etc. *ABOUT ME* Hello, I'm Aspie Answers from NZ.I have Aspergers Syndrome that is now clinically known in the DSM5 Manual of Diagnostics as Autism.  I make videos as an advocate on autism and mental health from the perspective of an autistic adult.
