As a multi-time British Quad X Champion, Holmes faced a significant personal challenge. Just 11 days after the passing of his biggest fan and father, he entered the British Championship final carrying a heavy emotional burden and a 1-point deficit in the series standings. However, fueled by his emotions, Holmes delivered a commanding performance, securing his 4th overall victory of the year and securing his 4th ACU British Quad-X Championship.
