Property investors often talk about using debt to build wealth. In the share market, that's called gearing. With the BetaShares WealthBuilder range, investors can access moderate gearing into shares, and with the newly launched GG-BL, That means exposure to a diversified portfolio of around 1,300 global companies excluding Australia, all with no loan applications, credit checks, or margin calls. Gearing magnifies both gains and losses, so it's only suitable for investors with a very high tolerance for risk. You can learn more about the WealthBuilder range of ETFs at the BetaShares website. And don't forget to read the PDS and TMD to decide if it's right for you. BetaShares Capital Limited is the issuer.

Imagine you can only pick three ETFs, three exchange traded funds, three investments for your entire portfolio. That is exactly the rule that I've given to Cameron Gleeson from BetaShares ETFs. He's going to come in today. He's going to tell us what three ETFs he would pick and why, but to add a layer of kind of complexity and to make it a bit more fun, we've got two kind of customer avatars.

If these people have walked in off the street and said, hey, give me a three ETF portfolio, and he's got one for a 30-something-year-old and one for a 50-something-year-old, well, a couple, And we're going to dive into what goes into those portfolios. How does he think about it? All of the constraints. Can he get passive income for the 50-somethings? Should he be focused on growth for the 30-somethings? All that and more in this episode of the Australian Finance Podcast. Welcome to the Australian Finance Podcast by Rask. with a 34-year-old couple. They've got young kids, as a lot of people would at 34. They've got a $50,000 portfolio already, and they save about $1,000 per month. Let's be honest, cost of living, fuel, childcare, reduced hours at work, it's real life. Okay, so we've got these two portfolios, and then overarching, you can only pick three, and only three ETFs for these two groups, all right?
