How does emotional intelligence influence investing?
Beware the imitators. People like to copy us. Without further ado, let's jump in to today's episode. Kate Campbell, welcome to this episode of the Australian Finance Podcast. How are you going?
I am very good, Owen.
Yes, we are very good. We are talking about nine lessons learned in 2022. So we've been doing this for how many years now?
Well, I've been podcasting for five years, so I think we've been running the finance. I can't even say it. The Australian finance podcast. You keep saying it, fine arts, and it's screwing me up. But we've been running the finance podcast for four years now. We started in January 2019. So we've learned a little bit.
Yeah, and in the time that podcast has grown into something wonderful, and so many people tune in. But if you're new here, which you may be, because a lot of people start listening to finance podcasts, or even fine arts podcasts. I'm sure they see an uptick in downloads as well. But...
What should be included in an investment plan?
What happens a lot of the time is when people come to finance, they just want some answers. They want someone to say, what do you guys know and what can I get from you? I always think about that when I go and speak to experts. I think, what are the things that are really important? We're going to share with you some of the things that we've learned over 2022. Obviously, we've been doing this a long time, but in this episode, we've got nine things. If you just pay attention to even a few of these things, they might not all make sense to you. But maybe one of them does. And maybe what that is like is like skipping or hitting fast forward on your education. And so you can catch up quicker to where everyone else may be in a couple of years.
You do it in a couple of months. So pay attention to what we're about to say. They're very different. Warning, these lessons are probably not what you expect from the Australian Finance Podcast.
