Self professed "Crusty 'Ol Salt Dog" Brad "Smithy" Smith has been a fishing guide on the Tweed River and the nearby Gold Coast for 25 years and specialises in catching Mangrove Jack. In this episode he unloads a quarter of a century of knowledge and experience for finding and catching the large and very tough mangrove jacks that inhabit this part of the world. Smithy's take is different from most, preferring to extract fish from the deep rock bars using hard body lures.
