The long-nosed emperor is a relatively common species on coral reefs across northern Australia. Aggressive, hard fighting, pack hunters, they also go pretty well on the table. Usually the long nose isn't targeted specifically, it's typically part of a mixed catch when surface fishing shallow coral flats. But in this episode we asked guest Tyson Palmer for his tips should we decide to go looking for ol' long nose. ________________________ A detailed fishing diary is a powerful tool for figuring out the conditions and techniques that contribute to better catches and the Fishing Points app is like a super efficient fishing diary on your mobile phone.
