Winter is a great time for eging in Victoria, with some of the biggest squid turning up to hunt in shallow, clear water during the cooler months. Today's guest is Nev Hayes, a Victorian angler who has fished the Phillip Island area since he was a toddler. Nev targets a lot of species from his kayak, but over recent weeks has been blitzing the local squid population, with good numbers of XL squid including a 50cm hood-length specimen boated. Refershingly, Nev likes to keep things really simple and shares his strategies for doing do with ALF listeners during today's interview. ______________ Keen to support ALF AND also improve your lure fishing results?
