Authors' Alcove: The Writing Corner

Author Interview with Dark Fantasy Writer Brooklyn Quintana: Fyneas Fog Series

26 Mar 2024

Description

My author interview with dark fantasy, illustrator, and publisher Brooklyn Quintana. She is the author of the Fyneas Fog series, which follows a twelve year old prince who learns there are consequences for his actions. Though this is no Harry Potter, it is definitely meant more for adults as this dark fantasy includes many elements. In the author interview she revealed that there will be nine in the series. The first of which is Nine of Swords, and the second, Blood in the Water, which came out in July 2023. She is also the founder and chief creative officer of the publishing company Morpheus Media LLC. Today, we will discuss overcoming writing challenges, the revision process, and how her artist’s eye shaped the aesthetics.
