I founded Ornot in 2013. I think the best thing about Shopify is that we can practice business without technical skills. We can manage the company's background and front-end and sell online. If Shopify was a bicycle equipment, it would be a bicycle itself. That way things are handled and our business is handled in Shopify. Start a free trial at shopify.com website.

Hey, welcome back. Before we get into today's episode, I wanna take you back to one of those moments when you simply hit a wall. Not a small obstacle that you can easily work around, but the kind of moment when you feel like you have genuinely done everything right. You woke up early, you made the list, you stayed disciplined, you kept going, even when you were tired. Because somewhere along the way, you learned that this is what success is supposed to look like. Pushing through, doing more, staying productive, and never giving up. And yet somehow, it still didn't land. The energy wasn't there, the results weren't there, and instead of recognizing that something might be out of alignment, you probably did what so many of us have been taught to do and turned the responsibility back onto yourself.
Vicky Nedelcheva 1:19
Thinking that maybe you simply needed to try harder, Work longer, become more disciplined, or push yourself just a little bit further. I want to challenge that voice today, because for so many of us, the problem was never a lack of effort. We were trying incredibly hard, sometimes harder than we even realized. But we were never taught to understand our own energy, our natural rhythms. The way we are designed to make decisions, work, rest, create, connect with others, and move through life. Human design offers a completely different perspective on this. Instead of constantly asking ourselves to do more, it invites us to become more aware of how our energy actually works. And to notice what happens when we stop forcing ourselves into ways of living that were never designed for us in the first place.
Vicky Nedelcheva 2:09
And that's what we're talking about today. Why work harder can sometimes be the worst advice you could give yourself. Why exhaustion is not always a sign that you need more discipline. And what it can actually look like to work with your design instead of constantly working against it. Because sometimes, the next level of your life doesn't require more effort from you, it requires a different relationship with your energy. We grow up with one universal template for work and productivity. Rest is something you earn after you have done enough, rather than something that is naturally built into the way you live and work.

Why do I keep hitting a wall despite working harder?

Vicky Nedelcheva 2:45
Whether you are in school, working a job, raising a family, or building a business, the underlying message is often the same. Your output is a reflection of your discipline and your ability to keep pushing. And for some people, that template genuinely works. There are people who can wake up, get moving, stay focused for hours, produce consistently, and then do it all again the next day. Their energy seems to regenerate naturally through action. And society often rewards them for that consistency. They become the example of what productivity is supposed to look like. But human design introduces a completely different perspective, one that most of us were never taught. It suggests that not everyone is designed to generate and sustain physical energy in the same way.
Vicky Nedelcheva 3:33
Some people have more consistent access to sustainable life force energy. while others experience energy in a much more variable way. And some people's greatest strengths were never meant to come from constant output in the first place. Their power can come through perception, awareness, guidance, timing, recognition, or the ability to see what other people simply cannot see. This becomes especially important when we talk about projectors. and other people who do not have consistent access to the sacral energy that generators and manifesting generators have. A person without consistent generated energy can spend years trying to live according to a productivity model designed around constant output.
