This is Scott Becker with the Becker Business, the Becker Private Equity Podcast. Today's discussion is Wingstop, Peloton, Astero Labs, Avis, and RH, five stocks moving a lot. So here's where we're at today. Wingstop had great earnings. I almost think it was a meme stock, but it's very much a real stock.
Chapter 2: What are the notable stock movements for Wingstop?
They're up 26% today on great second quarter earnings. Second, Peloton is up 19% today. Again, cost-cutting, moving in the right direction, and just making a lot of progress.
I thought that company was left for dead, but it's doing okay. They're back. They're up 19% today. Astera Labs, a chip maker that I'm an investor in, it has been up and down and over the board. It's up 40% over the last month. It's up 7% today. God bless America. It's still down about 3%, 4% year to date, but that's a huge move in the right direction.
Next is Avis. Avis Rent-A-Car missed on earnings, missed on revenues. It's down 15% today, just got hammered. Finally, fifth, RH. RH remains down 45.5% year to date.
