Welcome back to the podcast. Oh, my gosh. You guys, this podcast episode is coming out on January 21st. And many studies show that most people give up or have already given up on their New Year's resolutions and their goals for 2025. Now, most people set two types of goals for the new year. Usually, Most people set a health goal and a financial goal. And so this episode is all about helping you to stay the course and not let yourself be one of the many people that fizzle out and give up on their goals on January 19th.
So even if you kind of gave up already, it's not too late to get back on track and recommit.
How does this episode link New Year goals to health and finances?
So I have one of my coaching colleagues with me, Elizabeth Sherman, and she is a life and health coach. And she's going to share with you the eight basic habits of healthy people. You all, habits number seven and eight are gold. If you just do those two things, you will... see such gains in your health. If you want to lose weight, you will see some weight loss. Those two habits are game changers. They have been game changers for me, and I believe they can be game changers for you. So I'm so excited to share this episode with you. Elizabeth is going to help us get back on track with our health, and I have something super special for you that will help you get back on track with your financial goals. Now, here's what I know for sure.
overspending. Impulse spending and emotional spending are the reasons why so many women who make really good money in their careers or businesses still struggle financially. When you really think about it, you know that you make good money, but you're always wondering, where is it going? And it's usually going out the window. It's going on impulse purchases. It's going towards overspending on things and not really even realizing you're doing that. And then also, using your money to cope with your emotions. That's emotional spending. And listen, whenever you use your money to get rid of negative emotions like boredom or stress or frustration, whenever you're used to doing that, you are setting yourself up to never ever be able to build wealth because it is not your money's job to make you feel better.
That's an inside job. And that is why I knew that I had to create a course that would help you with your spending. Because once you get your spending under control, you open up the floodgates to be able to build wealth, to be able to save significant money. I know some of you have goals to save 10K or 20K. in your savings and your life happens funds or your emergency funds, right? And overspending is preventing you from doing that. And it's also keeping you stuck in the cycle of credit card debt. So once you can get your spending under control, you can save more, you can get out of credit card debt, and you can start investing more. And you can just really start using your money in a way that to add value to your life instead of adding stress to your life.
Because the truth is overspending, impulse spending, emotional spending adds way more financial stress than almost anything else. So with that, I am excited to share that you can purchase the stopover spending course right now. It is a self study course that you get immediate access to when you sign up. When you sign up, you'll get an email that sends you all of the details and your login information and you can get started right away. Now here's what you're going to get when you enroll. First, you're going to understand why you overspend and how to stop. This is the psychology of overspending because the truth is until you shine a light on why you're doing it, then nothing will change.
