Too many of us as men adopt a poverty mentality when it comes to women, thinking that some other guy who won the proverbial 'genetic lottery' will get all the women instead of us. But ironically, many of us also believe in picking ourselves up by our bootstraps and taking personal responsibility when it comes to our education, our careers, and perhaps even our social lives outside of women. What's up with that? It's obviously a clash of incongruent mindsets, if not flat-out hypocrisy. How did so many of us get to that point?
