S1E2: Positioning Women Leaders in Institutions of Higher Learning: Views from an African Feminist (Part 1)

12 Dec 2023

Description

Send us a text In this episode, I am joined by Siphokazi Tau – A scholar in gender politics and one of the most phenomenal thinkers I know. Siphokazi identifies as an African Feminist. She recently published a paper on women leaders in the institutions of higher learning where she argues that the space is not particularly designed for them as it is designed on the principles of whiteness and patriarchy. Thus, this conversation is rooted on leadership and women leaders in academia. However, it goes beyond that. If the intersectionality of class, gender and race fascinates you, this episode is for you.  I hope you enjoy it! Support the show
