One thing we're REALLY good at as humans? Inventing problems. Our amazing brains are, in part, on a mission to keep us safe and alive. So looking out for potential threats and problems to solve seems both useful and necessary. And sometimes it is. But other times, our brains bring problems to our attention that may not actually be useful to us. In fact, left unchecked, they can create a lot of unnecessary pain, suffering and stress in our days. Just as you're encouraged to "pick your battles" in life, you can also pick your problems. The key? It lies in understanding a bit more about how your brain works, why it invents problems to begin with and three ways these invented problems show up in your life.
