We live in a culture where it's common to hear resolutions and desires to improve our physical health - we talk about eating healthier, exercising more, drinking more water and getting more sleep. We're called to steward our bodies, to take care of them, and we're pretty comfortable talking about it. But as part of that stewarding, we're also called to care of our minds - of our mental and emotional health. It's not something we talk about in everyday conversations, but it is a conversation that more and more women and mothers in our generation are willing to have. And I'm so grateful to be a part of that. In this episode of the Beyond Happy podcast, we're talking about why talking about mental and emotional health makes us uncomfortable, what it looks like to be mentally and emotionally fit and why it matters so much.
