نسلط الضوء على خطأ شعب إسرائيل في الثقة بقوة وقوة مصر، غير مدركين أن مصر على الرغم من أنها تشبه السرو الشامخ، إلا أن الأمة ستنهار في نهاية المطاف. كما نشير إلى رسالة إرميا العنيفة لإسرائيل ليكونوا على استعداد لحكم الله. اليوم نقرأ إرميا 4، حزقيال 31-32، وأمثال 14:17-20. ‏Day 227: The Towering Cedar ‏We highlight the people of Israel's flaw in trusting in the strength and power of Egypt, not realizing that although Egypt is like a towering cedar tree, the nation will eventually collapse. We also point out Jeremiah's vehement message to Israel to brace themselves for God's judgment. Today we read Jeremiah 4, Ezekiel 31-32, and Proverbs 14:17-20. I am reading using the Arabic Jesuit Catholic version from Holy Bible App which can be accessed on the app/website. You can also listen to the Bible in a Year podcast in English with Fr Mike Schmitz who did an amazing job. I am using lot of his comments in my reflection as well commentary from different trustworthy resources.
