اليوم ٢٣٠: قلب جديد. ‏ Day 230: A New Heart

نتأمّل في عناد قلوب بني إسرائيل في قراءات اليوم،و نسلّط الضوء على أنه لا يمكننا دائمًا الوثوق بقلوبنا الناقصة، لأنها ليست دائمًا متوافقة مع شريعة وإرادة الله، وغالبًا ما يمكن أن تقودنا إلى العبادة الزائفة. ومع ذلك، يمكننا الاعتماد على الله الذي يعد بأن يعطينا قلبًا جديدًا حتى نستطيع أن نفعل ما يجب علينا القيام به. القراءات اليوم هي إرميا 7، حزقيال 36، وأمثال 14:29-32. ‏Day 230: A New Heart ‏Reflecting on the stubbornness of the Israelites' hearts from today's readings, we highlight that we cannot always trust our imperfect hearts, because they are not always aligned God's law and will, and they can often lead us into false worship. However, we can rely on God who promises to give us a new heart so that we can do what we ought. Today's readings are Jeremiah 7, Ezekiel 36, and Proverbs 14:29-32. I am reading using the Arabic Jesuit Catholic version from Holy Bible App which can be accessed on the app/website. You can also listen to the Bible in a Year podcast in English with Fr Mike Schmitz who did an amazing job. I am using lot of his comments in my reflection as well commentary from different trustworthy resources.
