In 1977, Hal drove six hours north to the Standing Rock Reservation after reports of Bigfoot activity around Little Eagle, South Dakota began appearing on television and in newspapers.Late one night, alone at his campsite near the river, Hal heard something approximately 600 feet away.Three shorter sounds. Then an incredibly loud, prolonged wail.Within moments, dogs in the nearby village erupted. Coyotes on a ridge joined them.
