Gopal Jee Gopal is an accomplished Assistant Professor at the Department of Biotechnology, Uka Tarsadia University India. He has a passion for molecular medicine, teaching and research. He completed his PhD from the Special Centre for Molecular Medicine at Jawaharlal Nehru University in New Delhi. In addition, Dr. Gopal is a skilled educator and has conducted numerous online courses in Recombinant DNA Technology and Basics of Genomics and Proteomics for graduate and post-graduate students, research scholars, faculties, and scientists from all over India and beyond. Dr. Gopal's research is focused on developing plastic-degrading enzymes, and he has been awarded research grants and fellowships from reputable organizations such as the Gujarat State Biotechnology Mission, Department of Science and Technology, and UGC Scheme. He has also qualified for Junior Research Fellowship (CSIR NET-JRF) in Life Sciences. Dr. Gopal is a natural leader and has held positions of responsibility at JNU, New Delhi. He has participated in debates on various news channels and is an advisor to a few private limited companies and proprietorship firms. He also coordinates the Network of Capacity Building Cell (GSBTM) of South Gujarat region.
