Born and raised in a rural logging town in the middle of the Oregon Cascade Range, hunting became a way of life for Aron. His early days of working in the Forest Service trail crew team cultivated his true passion for divvy-type hunting. At 17, he joined the US Army, where he served honorably for 8 years — going to Airborne School, Air Assault School, Land Navigation, Mountaineering, and Survival School to name a few.
