I think they like the energy that Bateman and McAdoo and Josh Smith are bringing a little bit. You know, Dalton Varsha was a very good player here for most of his four years, but was not having his best season, obviously. And I think Bateman just look at the contact skills and look at the speed and the jumps he's getting in center field. I think what John Schneider really likes and you guys know him as well as I do. I think he likes that grit and that grind. And, you know, Bateman's a really smart young man, really smart young man. And he can he can he goes up to the plate with the game plan and he follows through on it.
He's going to be very, very good. defensively um josh smith has a reputation again as being a bit of a dirt dog and a grinder and uh and they love that you know mcadoo's giving them a little jolt so you know the hoffman one is the interesting one and and if i were to pick a trade that maybe bought people by surprise in the room a little bit i might say the hoffman one and they're not getting anything back in that deal that's going to help them this year But, you know, now Spencer Miles goes out and he's in a higher leverage role. And he gets a save last night because Barland and Rodgers are dads. Great question, Kevin. I just think there's a bit more of a one through 20.
