Asia Stocks Advance as Fed Rate Cut Lifts Mood

The Federal Reserve reduced its key interest rate by a quarter-point for the third time in a row but signaled that it may leave rates unchanged in the coming months. The dollar had its worst day in nearly three months after Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell highlighted labor market risks and downplayed inflation concerns.
