I'm Doug Krisner. The board of Walt Disney is aligning on promoting theme park division chairman Josh DeMauro to the role of CEO. Now, DeMauro has led the unit that has delivered most of Disney's profits since 2020. We are told the board will vote on naming a new leader next week. Five-year-old Liam Ramos and his father are back in Minnesota after being released from an ICE detention facility in Texas following a judge's order. The boy and his dad were detained by immigration agents in Minnesota on January 20th. Today, Texas Republican Michael McCaul spoke about federal immigration enforcement on CBS Face the Nation.
I still believe the American people want us to remove dangerous, violent criminals from the streets, but they don't want to see these images of children and people being dragged out of their cars and U.S. citizens. Those excessive use of forces cases need to stop.

The administration has paid $172 million for two warehouses, one in Maryland, one in Arizona. Now, ICE still has to pay companies to outfit those buildings with toilets, showers, beds, dining and recreation areas, and then run them as detention centers. A third warehouse in El Paso, Texas, could be among the largest jails in the country with 8,500 beds. ICE plans to use as many as 23 warehouses for detaining thousands of immigrants. In Ukraine, more than a dozen people were killed on Sunday when a Russian drone struck a bus transporting workers in central Ukraine. Officials say the strike hit civilian infrastructure, burning a bus with people inside. Now, the attack happened as the U.S. tries to mediate peace talks between Moscow and Kiev. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky says another round of negotiations will be held this week in Abu Dhabi.
