News when you want it with Bloomberg News Now. I'm Matt Piper. Vice President Vance says after 21 hours, negotiations between the United States and Iran ended without a deal after he says the Iranians refused to accept terms to not develop a nuclear weapon.
Unknown 1:02
The enrichment facilities that they had before, they've been destroyed. But the simple question is, do we see a fundamental commitment of will for the Iranians not to develop a nuclear weapon, not just now, not just two years from now, but for the long term? We haven't seen that yet. We hope that we will.

Iran's foreign ministry says that negotiations fell apart over a, quote, gap between our opinions over two or three important issues. Bloomberg's Eric Martin from Islamabad.

That being said, every single person I've spoken to, whether it's the experts, whether it's the man on the street, nobody wants to make a prediction of how this is going to go.
Matt Piper 2:53
Bloomberg's Oliver Crook, Contracts on Polymarket, though, for the likelihood of Magyar becoming the next prime minister exceeded 80 percent for the first time. House Democrats are calling on Eric Swalwell to drop out of the California governor's race. It's been reported that the Manhattan District Attorney's Office is opening an investigation into the congressman of California. More now from Bloomberg's Ed Kaleighi.
Ed Kalecki 3:13
The investigation of Swalwell, also a candidate for governor, comes a day after multiple women accused him of sexual assault and misconduct in published news reports. In separate articles published within hours of one another, the San Francisco Chronicle and CNN reported on women who said they were victims of Swalwell, a Democrat who had been a leading contender in the race to replace Gavin Newsom. A spokesperson for the Manhattan District Attorney's Office said in a statement on Saturday that it was urging...
