What did President Trump say about election integrity and alleged foreign influence in his address?
President Trump addressed the nation Thursday evening and focused on election integrity, especially during the 2020 election. He spoke of vulnerabilities in states' electronic voting systems and of China's influence in the 2020 election.
The Chinese government sought to identify U.S. journalists who had reported negatively on the U.S. president and pay them large sums of money to write more negative articles about him, as many as they could, and they didn't care what they said. The Chinese government wanted U.S. president to lose the next election, and the reason they wanted me to lose is because they knew I was wise to them.
Trump also made claims of non-citizens participating in federal elections.
We are releasing the results of a stunning investigation by the Department of Homeland Security. According to the DHS review, state voter rolls and public records, they identified approximately 278,000 non-citizens who are registered to vote in federal elections. Since Democrat states refuse to share their voter files, the real number is actually much higher than that.
We got reaction from the director of voting rights advocacy at the Campaign Legal Center, Jonathan Diaz.
I was really struck by how little actual new information we got from the president this evening. You know, after what was functionally a campaign speech for the first 10 minutes where he talked about a variety of issues, he really just... recited a bunch of recycled social media conspiracy theories about an election that happened six years ago.

SpaceX has already spent more than $15 billion developing Starship. After the bell, Netflix forecast a second consecutive quarter of slowing sales growth. Now the guidance is feeding anxiety about the future of the streaming giant. Netflix is projecting revenue of $12.9 billion in the current quarter and earnings of 82 cents a share, both a little shy of analyst expectations. We got reaction from Bloomberg analyst Geeta Raghunathan.
We were kind of looking for some kind of, you know, guidance raise, either the revenue numbers or the operating margin. They really didn't do either of that. And then, of course, the all important number was the third quarter guidance, which, as you pointed out, came in way below consensus.
