He has said it could be a long speech because, quote, we have so much to talk about. Press Secretary Caroline Leavitt, speaking at the White House this morning, says that includes the economy.
The president will lay out the case for why He and Republicans are better suited to continue tackling the affordability crisis that was created by the Biden administration and Democrats on Capitol Hill.
Speaker Mike Johnson was asked what he expects from the State of the Union and whether it might include tariffs.
