Blue Earth Podcast

Forging a trail for positive change

27 Dec 2021

Description

Documenting the climate crisis is a bittersweet thing. Whether it be capturing treatment of fish in salmon farms, or understanding the importance of habitat for leopard seals, travel to far flung locations gives us a window on the brilliance of the natural world but also on the horror of environmental change. Connecting a story to an audience can bring out an emotional reaction, but the end goal is to evoke action. For this panel on our Campfire Stage (sponsored by Hydro Flask), adventurer, filmmaker and writer, Jenny Tough was joined by:Lizzie Daly - Wildlife presenter and biologistJo Royle - Adventurer and CEO of Common Seas tackling marine plastic pollution. And Ian Finch - Former Royal Marine, adventure photographer and expedition guideIn partnership with media partner Sidetracked magazine.***The Blue Earth Summit is a movement and community driving positive action for our natural world. In October 2021, we brought together over 800 changemakers, business leaders, content creators and activists for our inaugural Blue Earth Summit event in Bristol.
