Alright, so a little story quickly. Yesterday, uh chaotic day around here, did the show, um, had Blue Jay Central and the Kawhi Leonard stuff came down. So busy day over here, everyone's kinda excited and um you know, you're reading through a thirty-six page. Report trying to make heads or tails of all the details and find out who was taking notes on a literal criminal conspiracy uh to clean up the stringer bell quote. Um a lot going on. And then there's this crazy storm outside. So um after doing Blue Jay Central and all this other stuff, I hop in a car to meet some friends to watch the game at a bar, and it is still pouring, and I try to jog across the street um to not get as wet as I would otherwise.
And as I'm about to open the door to this bar, I completely slip and fall on my butt. Uh and a handful of people see it and n no injury, just just pride. Neither all this is to say, uh it I was not feeling great as the game got going. Uh a little embarrassed about the fall. Chaotic day. The blue jays coming off of a tough loss. Uh it didn't didn't feel good. It didn't look good. And then The Blue Jays have one of their best offensive games of the season. Vladimir Guerrero Jr. has his best game of the season. Uh, quick change in how that all played out. The Jays end up winning 11 to nothing. They get a 10% boost in their playoff odds because that's an important one against Cleveland. They will try to settle the series today.
They will also try to lock up the season series, which will give them the tiebreaker, which is obviously very important because the gap in the wild card would be half a game if the Blue Jays uh win this one today. Uh only one person in sports had a better day than Vladimir Guerrero Jr. Yesterday. Pablo Torre. Ah Pablo Torre. Shout out Pablo Torre who like all the roses to him. He took some he took some shade uh for a long time. So good to see his reporting validated. But uh yeah, like Jay's yeah, Vladdy, you know, we've been waiting for it. Um A long time and you know what? Like it's He he was the guy for that game and that was a huge game. So if he can have a handful or, you know, six, seven, eight games like that between now and the end of the year, not five RBIs, obviously, but like if he can help carry the team, then they're gonna be in good shape and they might wind up in the playoffs.
