Glad to be back here after a great trip to Kansas City this week. Oh, and by the way, speaking of Kansas City, I know I was under a lot of pressure to try Kansas City Barbecue. Everybody's pressuring me to have a good time and eat a delicious meal. Uh and uh you know what I did? I had Kansas City BBQ. It was phenomenal. It was actually really good. I wanted to share this with you.
Here, look at this Kansas City barbecue that I got. Um, yesterday. This was at Meet Mitch at the uh Kansas City Airport. Yeah, it was like my final act before I got out of there. Can you see that? Look at the burnt ends on look how good those look. Holy crap. And look at that brisket. The brisket was good. Now let me just for those of you who are wondering immediately, just about in terms of comparison. What'd you think? You prefer Texas barbecue? Jim took you to Texas barbecue. And then you had your Kansas City barbecue. How'd it end up, Vince? Okay. I've got an answer for you. The brisket was better in Texas. Now I know I'm just comparing two different barbecue joints. One of them's at an airport, so maybe they don't have, you know, maybe they don't have it nailed perfectly.
The brisket was better in Texas. And the burnt ends were phenomenal in Kansas City. So I know that I know that that's not exactly fair. You probably want me just to dunk on one of them. Uh, but I actually just had great meals. And also I was kind of sick yesterday. So it was kind of also an unfair taste test uh as I was in Kansas City. But it was really great. And I avoided for the most part the Kansas City barbecue sauces that were sitting on the table. I know that's a part of the action, but I just wanted to taste the meat. I wanted to taste just that. And uh it was really good. Dude. Wasn't that doesn't that look good? Uh yeah, it was really it was really good. This is the kind of competitions, by the way, that the United States should be engaged in.
Uh uh all across the country. Everyone just needs What is Jim might have something to say about Kansas City Barbecue? Oh yeah, I know. I've been texting him. He's I sent him all these pictures. Yeah, of course he's biased. He's all in he's all b all about Texas barbecue. He did he did tell me that the burnt ends looked uh pretty good pretty well done though. Like in a good way. Not not beyond I know, I know. No, Jim was positively commenting on the picture of the burnt ins. I sent him this photo uh yesterday and he's a he's a barbecue master, so he knows what he's talking about. Anyway, it was great. But this is the these are the kinds of competitions the United States needs to engage in. Who's got the best food?
And then everyone just compete against each other. I got an email yesterday from somebody who was like, Vince, you gotta try Memphis barbecue next. Okay, fine. Fine. Pull my leg then. Just just you know, just whatever. I'm in. I'm in. I'm gonna try it. I'm gonna try all of it. Uh, as always, great to have you with us today. We have a very big show ahead for you. Uh, a uh a crazy, uh supposedly Republican congresswoman uh is once again pushing amnesty in the United States of America and demanding that the president of the United States help her with it.
