Chapter 1: What happened in the UConn vs. Duke game?
dramatic finish for sure yesterday where UConn beat Duke 73-72 advancing to the Final Four. So I give you all three calls here, and the next hour I'll give you Ian, but I've got all three radio calls. We will start with Westwood 1 and your guy Scott Graham, who was on the call. So the situation is UConn misses the first free throw They make the second one.
They're down two with eight seconds to go. Saar gets it in to Cam Boozer. Boozer back to Saar. Now ahead to Caden Boozer. And UConn got a steal.
Caravan for Mullins. Long three. He got it. Oh, he got it. He hit it. He hit the long three-pointer from the logo with three-tenths of a second left to go. I don't believe it. UConn is taking the lead.
Yes, they did with .3 left, and they would win because the home run pass didn't work after the timeout or after that play anyhow. And so UConn amazingly wins that game.
Now, if you were listening in the UConn area, this was Mike Crispino on UConn Radio. Mullins delivers. Bedlam. Bedlam here.
It was in D.C. That was great. And then finally the Duke call. Boozer.
Bobbled it. Back for Starr. Needs to get rid of it. Does for Kaden. Seven seconds. Tried to throw it ahead. Deflected. Stolen by Connecticut. Two seconds. It's Mullins up top for the win. Oh, hit it. With three-tenths of a second to go. Valakai Smith ran off the bench. That should be a technical. But with three-tenths of a second to go, Connecticut has the lead 73-72. Yeah.
Not going to call a technical.
By the way, I think Malachi Smith was actually on the floor. I don't think he ran off the bench. Wasn't he?

Chapter 2: What insights did Rick Pitino share after the game?
Give me a break.
Stop. I mean, imagine that if they called that technical. That would have been a total disaster. Everybody would have hated that.
Oh, that would have been something.
Imagine Danny Hurley's reaction. He would have strangled somebody to death.
I don't know who, but somebody. Remember he said Friday, all we see is the monster. That monster would have come out.
Oh, man.
So they win. So Mullins, the freshman, that had to have been 40 feet, that three-pointer. That was from way out. Terrace Reed had 26 and nine rebounds, not to forget him.
Have you ever had a call like that? You've had to have had one or two, right?
Oh, I had the Ron Harper Jr. one where they beat Purdue. Back in the day. Do we have that anywhere? I like to compare these. Yeah, I can find it for sure. But, yeah, I mean, I've had some game winners, absolutely. Not in an NCAA tournament. You know what I've had, and we talked about this, which we couldn't play, was at the play-in game in Dayton when they lost to Notre Dame.

Chapter 3: What are the latest updates on NCAA tournament teams?
They used a bunch of guys. You got a couple of innings out of David Peterson. To me, and I understand you want to go to your relievers and Luke Weaver and all that. David Peterson's a starter. Keep him in the game. You know, he threw 30 pitches. I would have put him out there another inning.
They didn't score. I mean, we could sit here and talk about Dickie Lovelady. Oh, for sure. This was all about the offense.
By the way, and they also were overly aggressive. Although, I do like the fact that you want to be aggressive on the base pass because you want the other team to field the ball and make plays. And with Lindor getting thrown out at home, if he's sitting there, it's second and third and no out.
Yeah, I mean, there was also... Robert Jr. led off. It was the eighth he got on base. They got thrown out at second. And they did strike out 16 times. It was a bad day. And they were lucky to win Saturday. I agree with that, too. So... The offense was putrid to watch.
A couple guys off the bat, slow starts. Bo Bichette being one of them.
He's one for 14. He got booed yesterday.
All right. Welcome to New York, Paul.
There you go. He had no issue with it. Meds are in St. Louis tonight. Clay Holmes takes on Kyle Leahy at 745. Yankees are off Sunday. They play in Seattle tonight. Ryan Weathers and Luis Castillo, the starters there. That's on the fan at 9 o'clock. I'm going to get you Aaron Glenn next hour. The Rangers beat the Panthers. He spoke with NFL Network. We'll get to that next hour.
The Rangers beat the Panthers 3-1. The Devils beat the Blackhawks 6-3. Big game tonight for the Islanders as they take on the Penguins, one point separating the two. And you have the arrest of Tiger Woods on Friday, which we will get to as well.
