Coming up in just a little bit, do you feel like there is a real problem between Jalen Brunson and Carl Anthony Towns? Dwight, that's a hard thing to say.
I can only go by what I watched last night when Jalen Brunson wasn't on the court, and I was paying so much more attention to it because Jose Alvarado was out there, and the things that you were saying yesterday about how Jose goes right to Carl Anthony Towns.
Now, I don't know if that's by design because that's exactly what the coach wants him to do, or that's just something that the two of them have in common. They have a sync. whether it be him throwing to Carl Anthony Towns or him cutting off of Carl Anthony Towns last night, a couple times, a couple give-and-go's, and they were a pretty good place. And I like the way that they look together.
There's no question about it, and there's no question also that when Jalen Brunson's on the basketball court, the basketball's going to be in his hands 75% of the time. Yeah, so a couple of things. Well, I wish this win last night would have happened against a better basketball team so we could have... Evaluated a little bit better because the Memphis Grizzlies are a mess.
They're one of these teams that is tanking to try to get up to the top of the draft. So it's really tough to evaluate. But the reason why I do think there is at least a little bit of a problem is because of how Carl Anthony Towns just looked out there. He looked so much more into it. We just saw him against Houston walk off the court.
look nowhere at his teammates, not slap any fives after a great pass that led to points to go into the half and then sulked into halftime. And then, you know, last night he's running around. He's more inspired. He is happier than he talks about moving the basketball around in the postgame, which obviously they did a hell of a lot better without Jalen Brunson out there.
Now, this is not a criticism of Jalen Brunson. The Knicks need Jalen Brunson more than anybody else. He's the best. He's transformed this team.

Chapter 2: What role does Carl Anthony Towns play in the Knicks' success?
But there is a lot of ball stopping with him. He is more of an isolation guy than we want to admit sometimes. And he has had to do that. He's had to be the hero. He's had to have these 40-point games in the playoffs for them to win. And I think the best version of the Knicks as presently constituted has him taking a little bit of a step back
and getting the ball out of his hands and finding Carl Anthony Towns a hell of a lot more than he has this entire season. Here's one of the things that I take out of last night's game. Carl Anthony Towns didn't have any three-point shot attempts. So that meant that the game plan was get the ball into Carl Anthony Towns because there's really nobody that can cover him.
Nobody can stop him on the Memphis roster. It's completely different when they play teams that are better. And I'm telling you right now, there are two teams – And one of them may be a team that they see in the first round of the playoffs, and that is the Philadelphia 76ers. They're there getting healthy, and they're starting to win. The other team is the Boston Celtics.
I mean, they're rolling. And Jason Tatum's now playing up to 30 minutes a game. So it's obvious that other teams within the conference are getting better. They're getting healthier. They're actually even playing better. I mean, who would have thought that Philadelphia would be 42-34 given everything that's gone on there the last five years? Sure. I mean, they were dead in the water last year.
It didn't look like they had much of a chance this year. See, but I'm not... I'm not worried about anybody really other than Boston and Detroit. I'm not. Now, maybe that's foolish. No, no, I'm not.

Chapter 3: What are the implications of NASA's Artemis II launch?
And this may come back to bite me, but I just, I'm not. And if they lose to one of those teams, it's a complete failure of epic proportions. If they lose to a team other than Boston or Detroit, I mean, that's like blow it up time. I mean, could you see, I mean, could you end up seeing... The final four in the Eastern Conference could be the top four teams.
So the Cavaliers, Knicks, and Celtics, and Pistons. Meaning that the Knicks and the Celtics would end up meeting in the second round. Yeah. Just like last year. Just like last year. And that's the thing that I would be concerned about.
as we sit here right now, which team would you rather see, assuming they win their first-round matchup, which is not going to be a given in the way that they've been playing against good teams. The problem is that three of their last four games were against top-tier teams, and they looked overwhelmed, and they didn't look connected. And if you think...
You and I heard Carmelo Anthony talking about how they're disconnected and how Tracy McGrady said Carl Anthony Towns, I'm paraphrasing here, is disgusted by his body language and everything else watching this game against Houston. Don't you think Carl Anthony Towns heard that? Yeah, I would think so.
Yeah, all of his buddies are telling him, man, they're ripping you on the show, and Carmel's all over you, and Tracy McGrady's all over you. And then you remember you had Shaq telling him, you got to be great, you got to be great. I mean, he's getting it from all different angles. Yeah, of course. That's what happens when you come here.
You're supposed to be great and you're one of the best players on the team. And obviously he's got a lot of stuff going on in his personal life as well as we have details. It's not easy. It's not. But it was good to see him play the way that he did and get that triple-double last night. I just want to see that against a good team with Jalen Brunson on the floor sometime in the next five games.
You know, the basketball court for him... should be his safe space.

Chapter 4: How do Boomer and Gio debate the purpose of moon travel?
That should be his get away from what's happening in real life and just go out there and play basketball and do something that you've been doing since you were a kid and something that you dreamed of doing and getting away from all issues away from the court and just go out there and play basketball and enjoy at least those three hours that you're with your buddies and you're playing.
I know you had a tough night last night because you're starting to feel sick. What did your NuvaRing tell you about your sleep last night? Not good. Not good. Right, and it's an Oura Ring. I heard that that Oura Ring, I was listening to some podcast. There's people who are very into light and how it affects you. Because that thing is supposed to light. It lights up at night, I guess.
If it's like a green, it's good. Yeah, but you don't see it. I mean, obviously, my eyes are closed, so I don't see it. Yeah, but that's like detrimental because it's like an LED light. That's what's on there right now. What does it say? It says Nuva, readiness 69. Aura. Oh. What's the main headline? Major signs. There you go. Negative. Okay.
Your biometrics show major signs of something straining your body. Ooh. Ooh. Something straining my body. Something straining. But yeah, but there's people who are like, they're really against LED light.
Chapter 5: What updates are there on the Yankees and Mets games?
My readiness is fair. Yeah. I was efficient sleep. My sleep score is 81. Normally, I'm getting 88s to 90s. Okay. But now, last night, I had an 81 because I had to get up in the middle of the night and, you know, hack a paloogie. Hack it up. Yeah. Have you listened to that podcast with that guy, Bill Maher and some guy who's always talking about LED lights and stuff?
Yes.
So you know what I was talking about? Yeah, Huberman, yeah.
I do, yeah.
So there's LED lights going off when you're trying to sleep, and that's detrimental to you, which is sort of... So now, after... Watch LED light on the ring? Yeah, yeah, yeah. I don't know what the hell he's talking about. When it's charging. Yeah, you can't have that. When it's charging? I believe so. Well, I don't charge it. I wear it when I sleep because I want a sleep score.
Well, I think what it gives you is like a, I think, does it light up when it's on your finger? It does every now and again, but I don't see it. I don't walk around like this all day, and I don't sleep with my hand on my face. If you want to drive yourself crazy about everything in the world slowly killing you, you can very easily if you listen to people. Because now... I don't listen. That's why.
Like...

Chapter 6: What happened in the Knicks' victory over the Grizzlies?
I got Al telling me about the microplastic Netflix documentary I have to watch. I decide on the way home to listen to this Huberman with Bill Maher who's got the LED lights and how he wakes up. So I'm convinced that I'm unhealthy with this sickness. But I'm convinced because of the schedule I'm as unhealthy as possible because... This guy wakes up, and he sees the sunlight every day.
The first thing he does is get sunlight on him and how important that is. And I'm like, I can't do it. I never have done that. Well, you got sunlight on you yesterday. No, no, no. The first thing when you wake up, you need it. Oh, I see. Because of cortisol levels or whatever. Oh, I got cortisol issues. So now we got cortisol problems. We can't get sunlight on us in the morning.
But does cortisol come in a plastic bottle? Probably. That'll kill you, too. That'll kill you, too. But, man, I have to listen to that yesterday. I got no chance. I have to tell you, I was fascinated with Artemis II yesterday. Oh, were you?
Yes.
I was going to get to it. I was going to bring it up. You want to talk about it now? Well, it's fine. But, you know, it was awesome watching that thing take off yesterday.

Chapter 7: Why is Tiger Woods going to rehab overseas?
And I said, no, it's 50 years before we've gone to the moon. Like, what is that all about? Yeah, so I was having these same thoughts yesterday. I saw one of these NASA guys talking about it really comes down to who's in the White House and whether or not they're going to support NASA and space exploration.
He goes, as long as we have people in the White House that believe in what we do and how we do it, then we'll actually ultimately get there. But because there's so many stops and starts.
that we have been unable to do this, but now we seem to have had a number of years where there's been a lot of support from both Republicans and Democrats to get this thing going, and it was pretty awesome watching that yesterday. It was. I mean, just the technology of it, the pride...
that the people had down there at the Kennedy Space Center and then the astronauts and listening to all of that. I think that was awesome. And to see it launch was absolutely incredible. I will say, though, that for the people that are out there, the large contingent of people that don't believe we ever landed on the moon, I feel like this gave them fodder yesterday. Yeah, I'm sure it did.
Because of what you said yesterday. Like, we haven't been back in how long, and now we're just orbiting the thing, and we're not landing on it, and then we're going to do this mission, then another mission, then we're going to land on it. So the last time we were there was actually 1972. We landed on it with Apollo 17. That was the last time. But then you think, well, why?
There's enough money that goes into it. I'm a huge space guy, huge space exploration guy. The one thing I would say is, What is up there on the moon that we need? What is the point of the moon? Well, a launching point to get to Mars. So that's what you think it is? Yeah, it seems like it. That's some of the conversation that I was listening to yesterday. With people, you're saying.

Chapter 8: What is the controversy surrounding Kristi Noem's husband?
Yeah. Because we've been to Mars with rovers. They want to build a base on the southern part of the moon because that's where the sun is. So it's sort of like when you stop at a Buc-ee's. So you can get up in the morning and you can see the sun in your face. So it's like when you stop at a Buc-ee's on the way, like you're on a long road trip or something. You could say Buc-ee's.
You could also say Cracker Barrel. Stop at one of those places, you know, refresh yourself, then go to your destination. That's what we're looking at the moon as. I mean, it depends on who you talk to and what they see the future as.
All I can tell you is that most of the people that are in the space race business all believe that you have to go to the moon first, establish something there, and then use that as a launching off point for the next conquest. Okay. Moon, 255,000 miles away. Right. Woody and Poughkeepsie. Hold on, Woody. There you are. What do you have, Woody? Good morning, boys. How are you feeling? Not great.
I feel like crap, but that's all right.
We're here. We're here for you. What's going on? Listen, you guys got the Huberman part right, the guy that did the interview, but everything else you got kind of jacked up. Okay. They were talking about incandescent bulbs and LED bulbs. Yeah. Okay. Okay.
And what they're saying is that the LED actually are not good for us now, and the incandescent bulbs gave off wavelengths of light that were good for us. So they're saying, you know, the red light therapy, the different wavelengths and color codes in the light is what is making us healthier, or the incandescent, now that we've gone over to LED, it's actually shown in studies that it's bad for us.
Okay. Yeah, I mean, I think I heard that part, but Bill Maher was complaining about how he wears, he's got a NuvaRing, too, and he wears it. It's an Aura Ring. And he says that it's light going off, and I'm supposed to be in complete darkness when I'm sleeping, and this thing that wants me to sleep well is now giving off this light, which doesn't make any sense. It's counterproductive.
Does he put his hand on his face when he's sleeping, or what? No, what he did was he ended up putting black electrical tape around it. I mean, it's asinine. Just stick your hand under the pillow or something. You know, I mean, like, I don't know how that even bothers you sleeping. It doesn't make any sense to me. Well, it was getting to him. And by the way, Sidney did give me a red light mask.
Have you used it? I tried it once. It felt weird. So you never went back to it? Maybe I'll bring it in for show and tell tomorrow. Okay. And I'll put it on you. I'll wear it. Okay. I'll try anything right now that will... I don't know if it will make you feel better, but hopefully it will make you feel better. What's that whole point? The whole idea is to make your skin glow. Make your skin glow?
