And more importantly, even though some of these guys are a little bit older and long in the tooth, you can't discount the impact that they have on younger players when it comes to preparation. And it comes to leadership.
And I think that's why Demario Davis was thought of as a very important signing for the Jets. He's going to go in there. He and Minko will go right in there. And they will be the captains on defense. Need some professional veterans to set the foundation of this rudderless ship. You got to be careful with older players, though. That's the thing. We say that it is a young man's game. It's about speed. It's about durability. And it really, I mean, in the 17-game season, the amount of injuries that are taking place and that we are witnessing over the last three or four years are so significant. And the older player tends to get injured. Yeah, I mean, the younger player gets injured too. It's a violent game.
But, yes, you want to make sure that you have as many young guys on that roster as possible. Let's go to Conrad and Jerry Hill.
