Chapter 1: What is Gio's memorable Dennis Green ticket story?
It's the Boomer and Geo podcast from WFAN. All right, Boomer and Geo on the fan and CBS Sports Network coming to you live for Tough Studio. Number to join the show is 888-808-1019. That's the Red Pocket Mobile fan line brought to you by your new ultimate cell carrier, Red Pocket Mobile.
Final wild card weekend game complete last night with the Houston Texans moving on as they truck the Steelers late in that game, 32-6. Obviously, we're still paying attention to the John Harbaugh news and whatever happens with him. And we found out yesterday that Chris Mara, the first member of any team's ownership group to sit down face-to-face
With John Harbaugh, and I think that is very important. A lot of people believe the Atlanta Falcons are a threat to the Giants. The Tennessee Titans might be a threat to the Giants. I don't believe that those two teams you'd have to worry about.
I do think Stephen Ross coming in and being just an absolute pig about a contract and giving him everything he wants and maybe even a piece of the team or something crazy like that is a possibility. I also think that if... John Harbaugh believes in Cam Ward over Jackson Dart. Maybe that is a possibility. But how could you? Really? I mean, how could you pick Cam Ward over Jackson Dart?
Should have been here a half hour ago.
That's right. He should have been here a half hour ago.

Chapter 2: How did the Texans perform in their recent game?
What's going on? I was talking to Tiki about John Harbaugh. This is a new thing, by the way, in this 9 o'clock break. He and Tiki talking football in that office.
Oh, yeah.
Listen, I love Tiki, man. I never got to see him when they moved to the afternoon when he was here with Brandon. Yeah. I always got to see him. Always got to talk to him. I thought maybe you were changing your NuvaRing is what was going on there. I know it takes a few minutes to change it out.
Yeah, you know, it's interesting because there's fewer people here, but there feels like there's more people here. Because Avid and Tiki get here and they're a little bit more social than the previous guys. Not necessarily. It's because there's no place to go other than here. Exactly. So there's no office back there where everybody can go hang out. That's exactly right.
And it's all right here because there's construction happening. So everybody is around, which is nice. You get to see him. You get to talk. So what did Tiki have to say about John Arbol? I mean, just listen at 10 o'clock and you'll find out. I mean, you know. Well, I mean, okay. I mean, these are private conversations that two ballplayers are having. Private conversations.
Like when we talk, we try to stay out of your guy's earshot. Oh, okay. One of those things? Different language type of deal? Well, it is. It's a pro-athlete language, and we don't really want you guys to misinterpret anything or bring your nonsense into our conversation. One thing I want is a piece of memorabilia for myself, actually.
And I know this sounds crazy because it's something that I want my own signature on for myself. But I think it's really, really cool that this happened. And it has to do with me, you, and Tiki. Okay. I want an overhead shot of Giants Stadium when the Vikings lost to the Giants 41-0. Overhead shot of the stadium. All right? You were in the broadcast booth. I was in the stands.
Tiki was on the field. Right. And I want you to sign where the broadcast booth was. I want Tiki to sign where it was on the field. And then I want me to sign up. You guys got wiped out. Why would you want to have any reminder of that? I don't want a reminder of that.
What I want is I think it's really cool that all of us were there in the year 2001 in January, and now all of us are here together as teammates at WFAN. Obviously, I want no memory of the game. To me, it's just how once you grow up, You're not as worried about the things like the results of the games.

Chapter 3: What are the arguments surrounding Aaron Rodgers' legacy?
Oh, that was Lambeau. Didn't you go to Minnesota with me, too? I did, and that was Brett Favre against the Packers in Minnesota, and I was sitting behind the now-late Ted Thompson, standing behind, actually, in the press box as Brett Favre was throwing touchdown passes, and I could see the veins pulsating in his head. Yeah, it was two unbelievable memories. Great memories.
I barely can remember those. Well, I mean, of course. For me, it was like the greatest thing to ever happen. And for you, it was just routine. So, of course. It was a job. It was. I remember I was wearing my authentic Steve Hutchinson jersey. And you said, you want to go to the game? I said, what game? He said, tonight. You want to go? And Chernoff said, no, he's going to produce the show.
And then Benigno, to his credit, was like, Mark, are you freaking kidding me? The once-in-a-lifetime thing, you're going to make him answer the freaking phones? Hey, by the way, I got a nice text from Mark Chernoff, speaking of Cherny, last week.
Chapter 4: What updates were shared about Mike Tomlin's coaching?
Oh, yeah? Yeah, just out of the blue. Really? Yeah. Huh. Okay. Yeah. What did he say? Hey, you and Gio are doing great. Congratulations on all the grandkids. Yeah. Yeah. That's awesome. Yeah. Good to hear. Good to hear. He's paying attention. From Big Mark. Let's go to Mike in Woodmere. What's going on, Mike? Hey, guys. How are you? What's up, man?
I just wanted to follow up on your story about getting tickets like you got for the Vikings game. Yeah. My brother and I and Buma, you'll love this as a former Jet. We used to live in Miami back in the early 80s. And we always used to go to the orange bowl for the jet games, but then they started to have the games on Saturdays and we're Sabbath observers.
So all we wanted to always do is just go to see the jets play.
Chapter 5: What humorous moments occurred during the live read?
But every year we weren't able to go. So my brother, who's now an attorney, wrote a letter to the late Joe Robbie and explained that there's so many, you know, people from New York that moved down that are Jewish. They can't go to the games. Is it possible to, you know, have a game on a different day on Sunday?
Just sure enough, Joe Robbie had the Monday night football game with the Jets and the Dolphins. We got tickets, and they invited us up to the Monday night football booth where we met Howard Cosell and Gifford and Dandy Don Meredith and all that stuff. Wow. You know what? Sometimes those things work, guys. They really do. Yeah, I mean, that's a great story.
And, man, you want to talk about a piece of football history, to call Terrence in that Monday night football booth with those superstars? Yeah, you know, it is amazing that the NFL owners do have input into their schedules. Yeah. And they know who their fan base is and who comes and buys tickets. And when a certain team comes in, do they bring a big...
Chapter 6: What are the implications of Tom Brady's new endorsements?
Group of fans. And so the Jet fan that has moved down to Florida is going to go see the Jets at Joe Robbie Stadium or whatever it's called now.
Hard Rock.
Hard Rock. Right. So, I mean, you know, that you want to stay away from the Saturdays. You want Sundays and you want Monday nights. Of course. Yeah. Yeah. So, yeah. So that does happen. And, you know, they try to make sure that that happens.
works out for all the different teams wherever they can, and sometimes there's always going to be a little bit of a mistake where a portion of the fan base is going to get ticked off. Mike at Bayonne, what's going on, Mike?
Hey, what's going on, guys?

Chapter 7: How does the discussion about weight loss drugs unfold?
Hey, Gio, so I was at the NFC Championship game, and we were sitting last row upstairs. I took an incredible photo of the stadium that day, and I can send you the picture. If you like it, I can mail it to you. It's an incredible photo. I think you'll like it. I don't know how I can get you.
I'll take a picture of my phone, and I don't know where I can send it to you. Just DM it to him on X. No, I don't have my DMs open. I don't. But Al's going to... I'm going to put you on hold here. Mike, thank you. And Al's going to have you email him. You know, if he was on the other side... So you know how they give a section to the opposing team? Yes. So that's where I was sitting.
I got one of the Vikings tickets. It was upper deck in the corner, obviously, is where they put... So there was all... He would have to be on the other side facing you so that you would have to be able to see the whole thing. And you would see it because it was all purple in that section. Right. So you could see it. So there is a possibility that that might work. That would be a cool thing.
That would be a cool thing. Let's go to Mike in West Babylon. Mike, what's happening? What's up, guys? Good morning. Good morning. What's going on? First of all, I wanted to say I feel like Craig Carden's got no place on a golf course. I know you were talking about that golf match. We're just going to take that down. Don't you worry about it, Mike. We're going to be all over him. All right.
I'll be rooting for you for sure.
I wanted to talk about Rodgers.

Chapter 8: What final thoughts wrap up the episode?
I've been arguing with some friends. I feel like he's an all-time great, but kind of had some moments, questionable moments. I think he lost a lot of big games. Last couple of years have been kind of ugly. I was wondering what you guys think. How are people going to remember his career?
100%, 100% all-time great. This is the first ballot Hall of Famer. There is, you know, look, guys late in their career move around. I move around late in my career, not this late. But, you know, you tend to believe in a place because they have your replacement. In this case, it was Jordan Love. For Brett Favre, it was Aaron Rodgers.
I mean, you can't dispute the way that he played when he was at the top of his game and how he changed their passing game. And there were very few players that threw the ball as pretty and as good and as accurate as he did. So whatever happened here at the end of his career with the Jets and the Steelers,
It's unfortunate that he blew out his Achilles because I thought he was going to have a great year with the Jets, and it didn't work out. But in my eyes, first ballot Hall of Famer, one of the great quarterbacks who's ever played. Yeah, a bunch of MVPs, one of the most talented quarterbacks we've ever seen, and someone who, of course, was a superstar and a celebrity in his own right.
So I think, though, if there's any in it, I'm not focusing on a negative, but he was so good that you felt like he should have won more. You know, he got the one Super Bowl where they beat the Steelers in the 2010 season.
You felt like he was so good that there should have been another time we either made it to a Super Bowl or he, you know, there's a lot of those playoff losses where he'd lose to the 49ers, you know, teams in the AFC, the Giants, obviously, in, what was it, 2011. So, yeah, I mean, there's some bad playoff losses there, but the fact that he was able to come back from the Achilles,
have a season with the Jets that was statistically pretty good, and then go to the Steelers and be the starting quarterback for the entire season and win a division. With an offensive team, let's be honest. That was not a great offensive team. Of course. You know, you put him on the Eagles, I think you've got a totally different set of circumstances.
Could the Eagles want Aaron Rodgers to come and play quarterback for them next year? What about the Vikings? What about the Vikings? He does the full Brett Favre circle. He could. I mean, you know, look. The dearth of quality starting quarterbacks who know what they're doing on the field is limited.
And that's why if a guy like Aaron Rodgers was approached by the Eagles, I could see him saying yes. And he would go there cheaper. Oh, yeah. You know, he's not going to be looking for 50. What he's looking for is success. I mean, you know, it's a hard pill to swallow because what happened here in – at the jets.
