Chapter 2: How long does snow take to go away?
Yeah, this is pretty good. A couple things that I hadn't thought about, one I did do. He said you take a Ziploc bag, a big Ziploc bag, and put them on your side view mirrors and seal it up. This way you don't get ice on the mirrors. Don't get ice on the mirrors. I did that. It worked tremendously. The other thing he suggested was that you put garbage bags on your windshield or get one of those.
They make the windshield covers. I'm 100% buying one of those. And you pull it right off. I'm 100% buying one of those because that took me a lot of time this morning.
It does.
It sure does. When it was solid ice. So that was a good one. What I didn't do because I didn't have this product around is he took like, I believe it was silicone spray. Mm-hmm. He said silicone spray, like it deters water or whatever, repels water. The ices? It repels water.
Oh.
So what you do is you spray it if you still have a car where you have to put a key into the door. You spray it in there. You put some on a rag and you do it on the inside of your door, the seal of the inside of your door. And if there's no moisture in there, which this dissipates, it can't freeze. There you go. And I had a frozen door this morning.
I do have the can of de-icer that works. Unbelievable. Unbelievable.
Do you have the kind that comes in the can that has a scraper on the can? Yeah, that yellow can.
Yeah, that's cool. Really, it's a tremendous product. I don't know what the hell it's made out of.

Chapter 3: What are the challenges of shoveling snow?
You blast the defroster. And then with the ice scraper, I just go to town on the bottom. And once that starts coming apart, the whole thing comes apart. So I always make sure I got gloves. That's the one thing, because in the past I've been one of these morons that goes out without gloves and it's ridiculous. Yeah. So I feel relatively prepared at home.
I tell you what though, I went through a lot of, the one thing I had to get more rock salt. I mean, I went through and I thought I went on, I told you, I went on Wednesday trying to be like prepared before the, yeah, every place was packed on Wednesday. I got what I could get. And, Still, it is what it is. I need more.
Another tip this guy had was, which I did, which is to back into your driveway. Okay. And pull straight out. You can pull out. If you're pulling into a street, you have better visibility. And I always thought, too, like if you have any type of... I just feel like a car drives better going forward, more traction than going backwards.
And your peripheral vision is much better.
Yeah. That is true.
That is a good one.
I thought the guy had some really good tips. And he had such a cool video because... He goes, you know, I live in a place where we get a lot of snow. Meanwhile, there was already a lot of snow. And he goes, we're going to get hit with a storm. So he's showing you everything he does. He goes, and then in the morning, this is what you do. And he goes, I'm going to snap my fingers to show you that.
And he snapped his fingers. His cars were covered in snow because it was the next morning. That's funny. Yeah, it was really cool. I just, I love when like, Like that thing had 7 million videos, 7 million views. It didn't have any graphics in it. He did it.
It was just a guy telling you, talking you through like, you know, different fixes for the snow.

Chapter 4: How can you prepare your car for winter weather?
They've done a nice job updating these. That's good. I'm sick of all those cameras that you can't see. Come over here real quick. All right, Jerry. Let's take a look at this camera. This is near, when you come over here, this is the Garden State Parkway near Saraville. So this might be the bridge that I can't tell. Look at the cars.
Oh, that's pretty good.
That's very good. Now, if I take it lower, it looks even clearer. Yeah. But if you take it full screen, I mean, cars are moving.
What's the Turnpike one?
The Turnpike one is the same website, so I've got to get it somewhere by us here. Interchange 2, East Brunswick here. That's not a good one. There you go. That's a good shot. That's an exit and entry ramp, which is what you'd be concerned about, but it's fine. So all of these cams look pretty good.
We're leaving today and entering a world of Mickey Mouse waving. Princess meeting and greeting. Lightsaber clashing. The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror dropping. Banshee flying. Space Mountain launching. Galaxy rewinding. Galaxy rewinding. Fireworks igniting. World of other worlds. For whatever you love. Infinite worlds await at the most magical place on Earth. Walt Disney World Resort.
I had one of these cuts this morning I didn't realize. I got to work, and my pants, I was wearing my rain pants, Jerry. Yeah. My pants had a lot of blood on them. I was like, what the hell? I had sliced my finger. Oh, wow. You sure did. Damn. That's a pretty good cut. It had to be either on the ice or on my shovel, my metal shovel that I was bragging about. But... Yeah, I got that.
What if I bled to death on my way in? Well, I think someone, yeah, that would have sucked.
It was one of those things that looks way worse than it is. Like when you get, like when I cut my golf ball. Yeah. The amount of blood that gushed out, like, and as you say, it was a couple stitches. They were like, ah, you were fine. Like, I was fine. I thought I was bleeding out on the golf course. Yeah, you're going to bleed out. You never know.

Chapter 5: What tips can help with snow removal?
And for a lot of people, it's their second home.
Right.
Ain't nobody down there. And they don't... Leave it. They don't hire someone to look after their snow shovel. Yeah. If there's no one in the house... I'd leave it. No, no, I'm saying, but they're not supposed to leave it. As the homeowner, I think it's a, I don't know if it's a law.
Oh, the whole sidewalk thing? Or what the, it's never enforced. No, and I understand it, and I did snowblow the sidewalk several times yesterday, but I will tell you, it's a mess right now. Yeah. And I don't know how I'm breaking up all that ice now. Oh, yeah, now it's a sheet of ice. Right.
But it's my driveway. I have to Google, what's the best snow shovel? For your back. I'm going to talk to Grok about this later. A 15-year-old. That could do it for you. I will say this time, I didn't see any kids walking around looking to shovel for cash. But in the Bradley Beach Facebook group, and maybe this is on Facebook groups across the area, Jerry, there were multiple people.
Looking to either shovel or run errands for you or pick things up at the store. Very nice. As like a, I know it's a service, I know looking to do it for free.
Sure. I did run, I tried to run at the store yesterday. Yeah. A, I wanted to see what the roads were like. And I saw some cars out, so I'm like, it can't be that bad. But B, we also needed a couple of things. Not that it was the biggest problem. We weren't in that much of need, but it was an excuse to get out and just to see what the road was like. Yeah, see what's going on.
There was nothing in my town open except for Chipotle. Chipotle made it. I swear to God. They were open in one gas station. Everything else, I was stunned. Walmart, Walgreens, CVS, they were all closed. Wow. Everything was closed. I was shocked.
Yeah, I do think about that. And it's like, well, they have to count on their employees to get there. Right. And the employees are not going to go.
