Chapter 1: What playoff predictions does Joe Schoen have for the Giants?
calm version of Joe Shane beyond introducing John Harbaugh yesterday and he was all seemingly worked up. He joined Evan Tiki and Marash here on the fan. We heard Evan earlier hitting Harbaugh with the playoff prediction question. Did the same with Shane right at the end of their interview.
Playoffs next year?
I'm not making any predictions. Doesn't matter what I say. We gotta go out and do it. Don't let the jet troll get to you.
It's a fair question. John said it. Coach John Harbaugh said it.
More important.

Chapter 2: How did John Harbaugh respond to playoff questions?
Healthy kicker every game next season. Oh yeah, that's a good one. Hey, how about Ben Saul's? I love Ben Saul's. Saul's good, man. balled out.
Saul's good. Good line out of Marash there.
Saul's good, man.
Not the Saul's good, but the kicker part with Shane instead of the playoffs. That was a nice little transition there. Here was Harbaugh debunking this whole Steve Bishotti told him which job to take next story from after the Ravens owner moved on from him as head coach.
Steve Bishotti said something fascinating. He said, I told Coach Harbaugh where I recommend he should go, but I won't reveal that until Coach does. So we were playing the game on the air because we played the audio and I said, Bashadi told him to go to the Giants. Can you reveal what he told you, his advice on where you should go? No, he didn't tell me anything. He told me to take a year off.
He told me to take a year away. He told me he was going to pay for a year's vacation.
I guess it was in the contract. Basically, he had another year left on his contract.
The other thing, too, is what happens is sometimes these coaches, I don't know how long he had left on his contract. He might have had two years. But if there was a year left on their contract, they want to renegotiate.

Chapter 3: What insights did Steve Bishotti share about coaching decisions?
They want to re-up, and they don't want to be a lame-duck coach. So I don't know what his contract status was, but all I do know is that they do take Steve Bishotti off the hook now because now the Giants pick up five years, 100 million.
Offset language spot. Exactly. There you go. One more thing before we move on because we're running short on time. Here was Tiki asking Harbaugh about potential living accommodations, locale. What's the plan for him now in this new gig?
Where are you guys going to settle? It's just you and your wife and your daughter who's in law school, I know. But it's different living up here. But are you excited to experience what New York has to offer? You mentioned the skyline, but as Rodney Hampton told me when I was a rookie, stay out of that place. I moved in the next year. I lived on the Upper East Side by a tiger. Did you really?
Yeah, it was great. How was the commute? It was easy.
I love that. They were just talking shop. But it makes sense, actually. Reverse commute for Tiki going from Manhattan to the Netherlands.
Yeah, and it's just him and his wife, I mean. But why would he want to come into New York City at the present time?
I don't know. Tiki was trying to sell him. It sounded maybe a little two-bedroom situation in a nice area. Yeah, I don't think so.
He's going to have a very nice house somewhere in a great part of New Jersey that is close to a wonderful golf course, I'm sure.
I don't know if he's a golfer or not. Maybe he is.

Chapter 4: What are the latest Mets trades and signings discussed?
Perhaps for this gal that was on TV at the National Championship.
Yeah, 1976. That's what I'm saying. Probably a lot of bush. You know what I'm saying? I think so. Yeah, I think in 1976. We were better with the hygiene in 76. We were getting there. We washed the bush. It was just very bushy. Definitely. Trim the bush? I don't think so. I don't either.
Better with the hygiene in 76? I don't know about that. You're a movie quote guy. Wow. What was over is like, it looks like a... Did she have Oscar Gamble in a leg lock?
Oh, I don't think I know that one. You don't know that one? I don't know what that's from. Well, movie quote or not, that's tremendous.
So I had not heard that one.
But it's a great visual.
I don't know where that came from. Doesn't matter. It's brilliant. I remember it.
I mean, the fact that you even thought of a Merkin. Oh, yeah. And he was just casually here. What did you say? Merkin over there? Forget the White Sox scouting report. Merkin?
Because I was fixing the TV and all I heard was Merkin. I know. I was like, why is he bringing up Merkins? Right to Bush. There it is. How about that? Oh, wow.
