Chapter 1: What are the latest reactions to Bill Belichick's Hall of Fame voting?
This is another one in relation to the Bill Belichick thing, but a little different because we've referenced Bill Polian a couple of times. So he gave two different quotes to two outlets. He told one that he voted for Belichick. He told another he wasn't sure if he remembered voting for Belichick or not. Yeah, very, very bizarre. What? Yeah. He gave two different answers.
I believe Al was SI, right? He said he did vote for him. Yes.
Chapter 2: What did Bill Polian say about his vote for Belichick?
And I think it was The Athletic, I believe, he said he couldn't remember if he voted for him or not. TJ Hushmanzada, who does a podcast, I think it's with Acho, I believe. I'm not sure. He's not happy.
When you make that statement, Bill Polian, you're lying. And you know you're lying. You know you didn't vote for him. You know you didn't vote for him. Talk, T. Don't lie.
Talk, T. So I would imagine most people probably feel the same way. Here's one more from Ushmanzada.
This whole process now needs to be overhauled. It needs to be overhauled. The whole voting process is guys that's in that probably shouldn't be in, and it's guys that aren't in that really should be in. If you didn't vote for Bill Belichick, you should be stripped of your voting rights.
Fair enough, but I thought the polling one was very interesting, the fact that he said two different things to two different magazines. He seems like a little slippery son of a bitch, that Bill polling guy.
You know, it's funny.
He was the guy that gave Frank Reich his first opportunity in Indianapolis because Bill Pullian was the architect of the great Marv Levy teams and the Super Bowl teams in Buffalo. That's how he got to know Frank. And then when Frank wanted to get into coaching, he called Bill first and they said, OK, you got to come in here and you got to be like an intern.
Frank became an intern and then became, a couple years later, I think became Peyton Manning's coach. And somehow that road led to the Jets. Or may lead to the Jets. Then there's Broncos head coach Sean Peyton. He met the media yesterday. One of the first questions he was asked was, are you bothered by not going for the field goal up 7-0 in that game? He went for it on fourth down.
You didn't get it. And then you see the way the game played out. Here was Peyton's answer.

Chapter 3: How does Sean Payton view his coaching decisions in recent games?
You got two smart guys going at it. You do. And you are right. He looks like the Fonz. That is a pretty good jacket. This guy. I mean, nothing says these coaches get paid a lot of money more than the Mike McDaniel transformation. I mean, this guy had a pocket square and khakis that he used to pull up to his belly button.
Now, all of a sudden, he's wearing $7,000 leather jackets and lady glasses like Phil Simms. Very funny. The Mets introduced their new pitcher, Freddy Peralta, on a Zoom yesterday. Here was Peralta, the change, going from Milwaukee to New York.
It's really good. You know, I think... You know, it's a different market, different city. There's a lot more fans.
Yeah, I would say so. Here he is talking about the leadership qualities he can bring to the clubhouse.
I think that I just try to be myself all the time, every day, every single day. It don't matter where we are. It don't matter if we lost or win that night before. How good or bad was my game? The night before, the same day. I just tried to be myself.
Just tries to be himself. And whenever someone comes over to a new team, you always like to know who got in touch with them. So he did lay out the particulars.
Of course, when I spoke with Tyrone Taylor, he FaceTimed me. Alidor, Manea, Alvarez. And so there you go.
All the big players reached out. And fast friends, Freddy Peralta and the Mets. The Knicks played the Kings last night. Really tight game through three quarters in the four. And they weren't shooting it well, the Knicks weren't. But the ball started to go in late. Nice play to get McBride a look, but closed out well by Achua. Brunson with two to shoot. Hits a three over Westbrook.
Big three-pointer from Jalen Brunson, and he's got 20. And that was Tyler Murray on MSG. He would finish with 28 with a big fourth quarter. 103-87 was the final as New York beat Sacramento. Of course, the night wasn't without its incidents with Carl Anthony Towns in terms of what we have seen or haven't seen hustle-wise getting back, so much so that Clyde even got a little vocal.
