Chapter 1: What happened in the Texans vs. Steelers playoff game?
So let's talk last night about the playoffs, Texans-Steelers. You had two defensive touchdowns in the fourth quarter for Houston that led to a 30-6, what looks like a blowout win, but this was a one-point game into the fourth quarter. Pittsburgh could do nothing offensively as they get eliminated. Houston moving on. This is their head coach, D'Amico Ryans.
It was an outstanding defensive performance, one of the best that I've seen. as it versus a really talented offense, a talented quarterback who's played at a high level for a long time. So I'm proud of our defensive performance. I think this is the best
performance we've had in our team history and they were able to do this their offense was okay but it was the defense that again scored twice they did get a touchdown pass from cj stroud a touchdown run in the fourth woody marks here was stroud the ebbs and flows of a game they're gonna make plays we're gonna make plays it's all about you know moving forward and you know trying your best to you know flush it and keep going so you know um i thought you know when every time we had to bounce back you know we made more plays so
I'm proud of our guys for having a little bit of resilience in those moments.
And so since we're in a social media era, as we know, the Texans team, I don't know who these players are, but they posted on it. I think it was Instagram. If not, it was YouTube shorts. They had the random Texans running off the field with little messages. I'm not sure what the context is.
They're clearly doing the Kirk Cousins thing as they're walking off Heinz Field or whatever the field is named after now.

Chapter 2: How did D'Amico Ryans describe his team's defensive performance?

The Eagles, the Jets, the Cardinals, and now the Texans. All right. You know, it's all about players, man. That's right. You get the right players, you put them in the right system, and next thing you know, you're off and running. You've got to take that off your resume if you're Matt Burke, game management coach. That resume is pretty good without that. What did you do in 2021? I don't remember.
I had amnesia. I don't know. Another ex-Jets coach, man, right at the top of his game right now. Yeah. Here was Mike Tomlin on that Texans defense.
Certainly a disappointing end to our season, but you certainly got to give Houston a lot of credit, in particular their defensive unit. I thought they ruled the day.
All right, so the Steelers season comes to an end. So you get some reaction from a podcast called Steel Here. I think Jersey Jerry is a part of this. I'm not sure who this man is, but clearly does a lot of videos. And this was walking out of the stadium last night. Initial reaction.
