Send us a textDr. Nick Norwitz has overcome some serious challenges on his way to health! He actually completed the Boston Marathon on crutches! Even though he was the valedictorian at Dartmouth, obtained his Ph.D. at Oxford University in England (in two years, by the way), and is now attending Harvard to pursue his MD, he could not find the root cause for his osteoporosis, skin issues, or horrible gut issues. At his depths of hopelessness, he decided to try a low-carb diet, and he's never looked back. Within a week, his symptoms improved. He is the co-author of the book The New Mediterranean Diet Cookbook. We focused on his life and learning, and a recent article he wrote for STAT, about how his experience could make him a pariah in the medical world.
