Cain only has a few months left to live, according to Doc. Cain is a truly good man despite his circumstances, and I can relate to his predicament. The following day, Cain was meant to leave for Arizona, but he doesn't. Instead, he requests that Chester show him how to operate a six-gun. For a man who has never before displayed any interest in violence or firearms, this is remarkable conduct. I start to wonder why he's suddenly interested in learning how to use a gun, which makes me a little nervous. - Marshal Dillon
