Dr. Shelena C. Lalji, founder of Dr. Shel Wellness & Aesthetic Center, has served the medical and wellness needs of women and men in the greater Houston area for over 24 years. After practicing as an OB/GYN for 13 years, Dr. Shel took the giant step of pursuing an independent practice in a field she was passionate about, integrative medicine. In October 2019, Dr. Shel herself was diagnosed with breast cancer. She addressed this head on as not only a patient, but a woman's and patient advocate. She researched and identified the best integrative modalities for cancer, all of which she used to treat not only herself but also hundreds of others.
