For a lot of years now I've dreamed of owning a beach front property! Right now that dream is totally out of reach. But does that mean I've sat back, thrown my hands in the air and declared it an impossibility? No way! A few years ago I dipped my feet into the coastal property market and the risks I took are starting to pay dividends. "What's this got to do with retail?" I hear you ask. I hear retailers tell me all the time about the big dreams they have for their store. Then I hear them say "but that's so far out of reach I have no idea how to get from here to there". Successful retailers don't declare their big dreams an impossibility, they take small, achievable steps towards making it a reality.
