Chapter 3: What unusual choice led to a hospital visit during a date?
Well, we're having a Galentine's Day in the studio right now.
Oh, yeah.
I kicked all the boys out for this one. That's right. I mean, I forced Alexis to hang out with me in here. Yeah, I'm having so much fun. I love when you're honest and forthright. Uh-huh. Yeah, welcome to the Second Date Update. We hope you're having a great love day. And if you're not, we hope this makes you feel better.

Chapter 4: How did the listener's health issue affect the date?
And we've got back-to-back classics that start right now.
They say that hell hath no fury like a woman scorned. Oh, yeah. And we've got one very angry lady on the phone right now. It's really true. I know what you're thinking. No, it's not Brooke calling us from the other room. Brooke, say hi just to prove that you're here.
Hi, it's me. See, she's happy. All right. I usually am.
No, it's one of our listeners who says she's furious after her date left her in the most embarrassing situation of her life. And now she wants our help getting not just answers from the guy, but revenge on him.
Oh, my God.
We're always down for a little revenge trip. Are we calling a hitman? What are we doing? Well, God, why did you jump there?
We're not going that far.

Chapter 5: What are the reactions from the hosts regarding the listener's experience?
My brain's all over the place. You're going to hear what went down in your second date update right after this. Brooke and Jeffrey in the morning. Second date update. We got an email from a listener, and I'll just read the subject line. Okay. It says, there's a scamming coward on the dating apps, and you need to help me expose him.
Oh, juicy.
And his name is Scotty Don't.
come on stop it it is not i'm just kidding it's an inside joke on the show right now so we're gonna put that aside with the bottle of peach schnapps and everything else that's waiting up in his hotel room let's focus on our caller here because she did seem pretty heated in her email just on the subject line alone you could tell let's talk to lindsey lindsey welcome to the show
Hi. Oh, already coming in hot just with that hi. I love it, Lindsay.
You caught a scammer on your dating app?
What's going on? Yeah, I did. And I want to call him.
I want to call him.
All right.

Chapter 6: What insights do the hosts share about dating expectations?
I like his energy.
Let's get him.
We'll get into him. Can we know what's this guy's name? His name is Alex. And honestly, don't even call him a guy. He's a boy. Wow. Like cowardly little.
Oh, what happened? OK, Lindsay, we're on the radio.
Yeah, we got to watch the language just a little bit. But I appreciate the passion that you have.
What happened?
Well, we got dinner and it was going great. I felt like we were really connecting, having a good time.
He seemed more into me than I was into him. Okay. And towards the end of the meal, he gets up to go to the bathroom and never comes back.
Oh, no.

Chapter 7: How does the listener plan to handle the aftermath of her date?
We have talked to people that have done this or had it done to them. Yeah.
That's really accurate. extreme i've heard of this happening online i never thought this would happen to me and it was humiliating i felt like an idiot oh god how long did you sit there did you get the waiter to like go check on him or what
Yeah, okay, so after like 15, 20 minutes, I was like, maybe we can check the bathroom.
Is he okay? I actually got worried about him, and he wasn't even there. He was gone. Oh, man. Oh, yeah, okay.
Okay, I hate to ask, but usually the people who do this aren't enjoying the date. Do you think maybe it was going back?
Alexis coming in strong saying you did something wrong.
The people that call us usually did it, have a really good reason. She's right. I mean, come on.
He doesn't like you so much he left, right? Like I said, he seemed more into me than I was into him. He was so flirty and funny. And, like, who does this?

Chapter 8: What conclusions can be drawn about dating mishaps from this episode?
What kind of garbage piece of crap human gets up and leaves their date at the end of a date all by herself? Yeah. Even if the date's going bad, you just don't call her back.
You have a lot of reason to be upset, but I don't know that he's going to hear you if we're coming in at that level. You know what I mean? Like, what do you want out of this? You want to call him out and then what? I want to know what made him do that.
So you want to know why? Well, it's good that we're going to talk and not you because it sounds like you're just going to yell at us. This is definitely different because most of the people that reach out to us want another date with the person that we're about to call. Lindsay, you have no interest whatsoever. No, I want you to call him, and then I'm going to come on the phone and leave him out.
Okay. I'm here for that. I don't know. What if he has a good reason? There is no good reason a man should ever do that to a woman.
We have heard where people have had bathroom emergencies where they can't go back to the table.
He could have texted her and said something to her.
Exactly.
Have you reached out to him since that happened? That's a good point.
Yes, I've texted him a lot. He had plenty of opportunities to write me back and let me know if something went wrong in the bathroom, which he didn't.
