Chapter 1: What is the main topic of the Coffee Calamity episode?
Dr. Laurie Santos from the Happiness Lab here. It's the season of giving, and this year my podcast, the Happiness Lab, is partnering with GiveDirectly, a nonprofit that provides people in extreme poverty with the cash they need as part of the Pods Fight Poverty campaign. Our goal this year is to raise $1 million, which will bring over 700 families out of extreme poverty.
Your donation will put cash directly in the hands of these families in need. And they'll get to decide how to use it, whether that's school transportation, purchasing livestock, or starting a business. Plus, if you're a first-time donor, your gift will be matched by giving multiplier, which means more money for those in need. Visit givedirectly.org slash happiness lab to learn more and to donate.

What are the cycles fathers pass down that sons are left to heal? What if being a man wasn't about holding it all together, but learning how to let go? This is a space where men speak truth and find the power to heal and transform. I'm Mike Della Rocha. Welcome to Sacred Lessons. I didn't really have an interest in being on air. I kind of was up there to just try and infiltrate the building. From the underground clubs that shaped global music to the pastors and creatives who built the cultural empire, the Atlanta Ears podcast uncovers the stories behind one of the most influential cities in the world. The thing I love about Atlanta is that it's a city of hustlers, man.
Each episode explores a different chapter of Atlanta's rise, featuring conversations with Ludacris, Will Packer, Pastor Jamal Bryant, DJ Drama, and more. The full series is available to listen to now. Listen to Atlanta Ears on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
The show was ahead of its time to represent a Black family in ways the television hadn't shown before. Exactly.
It's Thelma Hopkins, also known as Aunt Rachel.
And I'm Kelly Williams, or Laura Winslow. On our podcast, Welcome to the Family with Thelma and Kelly, we're re-watching every episode of Family Matters. We'll share behind-the-scenes stories about making the show.

Chapter 2: How did the guest's workplace environment impact his experience?
Oh, it's a pretty big office.
Good size, yeah. Yes. Now, here's the thing. My first year there, it was miserable because no one would talk to each other. Oh. You know what I mean? One of those places where people just come to work, put their head down, never chat. You're telling me people at work actually just work?
No.
That's why this country sucks. Jeff, you can still work and have good vibes in the office. Actually, I think people are more productive if they want to be there and they like the people that they're around. Well, look how good radio is doing with that mentality. And that's also true. We are in the tank. Who said I liked being around you?
Exactly.
Okay, I'm back on board now. All right, so you were bored that there's no real social aspect of your workplace. Not at all. I mean, imagine that, though. Like, that many hours with people and no one talking. I know. Sounds like a dream. Oh, yeah. Or what you said. No, it sounds awful. Like, it sounds like you would dread going to work every day. Yeah, and that's the worst feeling. It really is.
It got so bad, I was actually going to quit that job. Okay. But then I had this crazy idea. Okay. I said, what if I do something? What if I start a little bit of drama at the office to see if I can get people talking?
Dude.
Because people love to talk about drama.
