Chapter 1: What cycles do fathers pass down that sons need to heal?
What are the cycles fathers pass down that sons are left to heal? What if being a man wasn't about holding it all together, but learning how to let go? This is a space where men speak truth and find the power to heal and transform. I'm Mike Della Rocha. Welcome to Sacred Lessons. Listen to Sacred Lessons on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Chapter 2: How can men learn to let go instead of holding it all together?
Dr. Laurie Santos from the Happiness Lab here. It's the season of giving, and this year my podcast, The Happiness Lab, is partnering with GiveDirectly, a nonprofit that provides people in extreme poverty with the cash they need as part of the Pods Fight Poverty campaign. Our goal this year is to raise $1 million, which will bring over 700 families out of extreme poverty.
Your donation will put cash directly in the hands of these families in need. And they'll get to decide how to use it, whether that's school transportation, purchasing livestock, or starting a business. Plus, if you're a first-time donor, your gift will be matched by giving multiplier, which means more money for those in need. Visit givedirectly.org slash happiness lab to learn more and to donate.
That's givedirectly.org slash happiness lab.
The social media trend is landing some Gen Zers in jail. The progressive media darling whose public meltdown got her fired. And the massive TikTok boycott against Target that actually makes no sense. You won't hear about these online stories in the mainstream media.
But you can keep up with them and all the other entertaining and outrageous things happening online, in media, and in politics with the Brad vs. Everyone podcast. Listen to the Brad vs. Everyone podcast on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.

Chapter 3: What is the significance of the Happiness Lab partnering with GiveDirectly?
I kind of was up there to just try and infiltrate the building. From the underground clubs that shaped global music to the pastors and creatives who built the cultural empire, the Atlanta Ears podcast uncovers the stories behind one of the most influential cities in the world. The thing I love about Atlanta is that it's a city of hustlers, man.
Each episode explores a different chapter of Atlanta's rise, featuring conversations with Ludacris, Will Packer, Pastor Jamal Bryant, DJ Drama, and more. The full series is available to listen to now. Listen to Atlanta Ears on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Oh, no.
I don't know if you guys saw this. It's Brooke and Jeffrey in the morning. But a business had to apologize for hiring a lookalike Santa at their store. Apparently, one tiny thing slipped through the background check. Really small, though. Like super duper small. So small you guys probably wouldn't even care about it. Maybe I don't even need to tell you guys.
Chapter 4: How much money is the Happiness Lab aiming to raise for families in need?
Back in 2019, the guy sort of kind of murdered his wife. But hey, listen, listen. He pleaded insanity, which most Santa lookalikes are.
Insanity? Yes.
And he did get released from prison recently. Very recently. He only had to go for that short of a time? Don't even get me started on that type of stuff. Don't even get me started. He is out now and he needs work. So it's either you put your child on this guy's lap or... He's going to drive you home in an Uber at 1 a.m. So which job would you rather he have?
Mommy, why is he cutting and shimming down the candy cane? I mean, personally, I'm going to choose the Santa job out of all the options. But I know not everybody here would agree with me because of his, you know, we'll call it a checkered past. His past. But let's not forget, it's the season of giving and forgiving.
Right, Brooke? This one just doesn't feel good, Jeff.
Okay. This one I can't.
Wow. I can't.
So a guy murders his wife one time, and now you're going to hold that over his head forever. The judgment coming from Brooke. Who's the real Grinch this Christmas? Ask yourself that.
I'm having a hard time laughing at this one.

Chapter 5: What social media trends are causing issues for Gen Zers?
It's fine.
Yeah.
Did they fire him, Jeff?
Yeah, they got rid of him.
Does that make you happy someone's unemployed now, Brooke? He should still be in prison. Yeah.
That's one lady's opinion.
Wow.
Anyway, now it is time for us to move on to Happier Things, the shot caller question of the day.
Brooke's had a weird tone, Jeff.

Chapter 6: What are some outrageous online stories the mainstream media ignores?
You'll never know the real reason they call him Digital Jake. So let's do it. Well, last time we were here, we covered the top Thanksgiving moments from television history, including stuff like live turkeys being dropped from the helicopters on the show WKRP in Cincinnati. Yeah.
Yes, which there was a lot of people on the text board who were unhappy that turkeys roost in trees and they can fly a hundred yards Okay, you don't drop them out of helicopters. You're right Brooke. Those listeners do belong in prison. Yes Now the turkey day is over. We're gonna pivot to Christmas Let's throw some hams out of helicopters
And on this day in 1989, the movie Christmas Vacation came out, highlighting the pure chaos of celebrating the holidays with the Griswold family.
So good, we gotta watch it every year.
And that's why today we're going to be covering even more holiday mishaps from famous movies during a special Merry Whoopsmas edition of... Plenty of 20. All right, you'll say number 1 through 20, and I will describe an iconic holiday scene where something goes horribly wrong. You might have to name the movie or possibly the actor or the character from it.
Just answer correctly what I ask you to stay in the game. Okay. We'll start with the woman who got tipsy last Christmas and slid into Santa's DMs. That's Alexis. I mean, he will fulfill your Amazon wish list. That's true.
You know? 11.
On 11, Alexis, which National Lampoon character tries to hang 25,000 Christmas lights, gets electrocuted, and then dangles from the gutter while yelling at the neighbors? Not the main guy. I don't know their names.
I haven't watched it.
