works. That's $86 million that people paid to watch a movie that's already been out. Talking about Avengers Endgame Encore.
Oh, because they added the stuff at the end to it, right? Yeah, there's been some new
stuff. It is the same exact movie that came out in 2019. They just re-released it with an extra word at the end, Encore. And there are four more minutes of extra
footage. Encore is the new trend. I mean, if Taylor Swift does it, everybody does it, right? Yeah. If
it works. They already hit almost $100 million in one weekend.
It is such a good movie, by the
way. I wonder what that means for the actors. Do they get paid again, or are they screwed if they re-release? They
deserve more money, for sure.
And
just to give you some perspective on that, no other re-release has ever made more than $10 million. Ever. That's how hungry people are for the new Avengers movie coming in December, Avengers Doomsday.
Are audiences really over superhero movies and superhero fatigue?
It's going to be so good. It's
going to be insane when it hits theaters. Remember just a few years ago they were talking about movie audiences having superhero fatigue? Saying, oh, they're all sick of all the hero movies coming out. Safe to say that's over.
