Clash of Kings Prologue: Maesters and Motley

Brotherhood Without Manners is finally back with new episodes! This time we are re-reading Clash of Kings. The second book in George R.R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire series. This episode we are reading the prologue. We meet and discuss Maester Cressen, the point of view character for the prologue. We have much to say  about the newest location we get to visit, Dragonstone. We are introduced to some very pivotal characters in this chapter, including; Stannis, Melisandre, Shireen, and Patchface just to name a few. We see the death of the poor Maester who was just looking out for the good of his Lord.....maybe.
