Jaime 3: Casterly Rock Bottom

Brotherhood Without Manners, your favorite full spoiler reread podcast of George R.R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire series, is back with another chapter from Storm of Swords. This episode we read Jaime 3 as he continues his journey to King's Landing with Brienne of Tarth and faithful Cousin Cleos.  The party passes through Maidenpool and we learn where it received it's name. The group is aattacked by brigands as they travel on the road to Duskendale, leading to the death of Ser Cleos Frey. Retrieving his cousin's belongings, Jaime goads Brienne into a very heated battle where he quickly learns he cannot keep up with her. After losing epically to Brienne, they are seized by the Bloody Mummers and brought before the detestabe Vargo Hoat. As always we read listener emails and give some inductees!
