Description

Brotherhood Without Manners, your favorite full spoiler reread podcast of George R.R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire series, is back with another chapter from Storm of Swords. This episode we read Samwell 1 as he recounts the terrifying night at the First of the First Men. Sam has survived the initial attack as he and his fellow brothers of the Nights Watch flee from the dead. Attempting to avoid thinking of it only leads to Sam retelling his experience of sending the Ravens and joining in the fight. He sees the dead for the first time as the massacre the men around him in dark and twisted ways. His friend Gren tries to keep Sam moving after falling down to die, when Small Paul assists to carry him along,. The three face off against an Other as Sam accidentally thrusts his Dragonglass dagger into the neck and killing it, but not before it took out Paul. As always we read listener emails and give some inductees. Follow our guest for the next episode @micah_ofclark on Twitter and listen to Planetos Podcast!
