It's a recording of a Zoom call, like a screen recording. We've gotten fancy since then. Fancy mics, fancy cameras.
I mean, really, it was, and you all know the story. It was an experiment. Budget Nerds was an experiment. We just kind of turned on the cameras, turned on our mics, and hey, what comes out? And it turns out there are a whole bunch of other people out there that love nerding out about YNAB. So here we are five years later, a little bit more sophisticated, and I'm still loving every second of it.
I mean, what came out was a whole community, really, of you guys. And that's what we're going to do today. We're going to celebrate the community by doing a whole mega YNAB wins episode. How many wins do we have, Ernie?
We have, including our own, 26 wins.
Okay, so we're going to share a lot. We're going to catch up a little bit, maybe, because we probably still have wins from back in 2020 that we haven't gotten to, so...
we're getting to the point where people are hearing their wins. They're like a year later and they're like, I think that was me. I don't know. I don't remember. It was so long ago.
Yeah. Yeah. At some point we might have to curate a little bit, but we've, I think we've shared pretty much every single one we've gotten. Yeah.

We'll get to it eventually. So yeah, but we're here. And so should we just jump right into it? I mean, we had a hard enough time getting started talking about it. This Imagine Nerds episode is cursed. We had the hardest time starting. We had technical issues. I turned my mic on and Ernie got blasted with a bunch of static. And then my mechanic called and I had to talk to my mechanic. I was like, oh, it'll just be... real quick and then it ended up being like a 10 minute conversation because my van is dying ben sent over a chat he's like this is bad lol i'm like oh boy yeah well i was just like you know how it is it's like i'm like oh all right i gotta answer the mechanics call because if you don't you know you're playing phone tag for like a thousand years and uh yeah
I was just like, I got to tell Ernie it's going to be a little while. It's bad. I mean, it's not that bad. It's mixed. It's not that expensive to get it on the road. But if I want to keep it on the road for the next two years, it might be. Well, it might be time for a new van. We'll see. We'll see.
Yeah, it's an older van. What did you tell me? 2005?
20 years old. Yeah. It's like four times as old as this show, you know? And it's got 205,000 miles on it, just ticked over. And my mechanic's like, he's like, this thing, he's like, we can keep this going for 300,000 miles. I'm like, okay. He's like, but you got to pay for it.
I don't know. We'll see. Anyways. Well, I'm glad you brought that up because this can now be an ongoing story. You can just every step of the way keep us posted on what's going on with your van.
You're absolutely right. I told them, yeah, okay, well, I'll give you the proper story. I told them to make it legal because it did fail inspection because the muffler had a leak, which is against, I guess, against the law. I don't know. No, it needed to be fixed. And yeah, he's like, I can get it legal for like 200 bucks. And he's like, but he's like these. And he said this giant list of in my brain just like kind of went to mush. And I was like, okay, make it legal. Write everything down. It's like all this stuff over the next two years.
