30 Mar 2022

Description

It's still Brain Injury Awareness Month in the United States, so I thought we'd share some additional information about concussions. To help me do this, I've invited along my colleague, Danielle Hyde.Danielle Hyde is a Speech Language Pathologist and the owner of Neuro Connections, a private practice that provides communication, cognitive and swallowing services mainly for adults after concussion, brain injury and stroke in Ontario, Canada. Danielle has been working with adults with neurological impairments since graduating with her Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology in 2012. She has worked in a variety of medical settings both in the US and Canada. Danielle is passionate about concussion advocacy and education including the SLPs role in concussion management and recovery. You can find Danielle's info below:Danielle Hyde, SLP: www.neuroconnections.caInsta: https://instagram.com/neuro.connectionsMIchelle Cohen & Associates: http://michellecohenandassociates.comLink to CCCABI course: https://courses.brainandcommunication.caCCCABI pdf: https://brainandcommunication.ca/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/CCCABI-checklist-FINAL-w.SLP_.17.12.2015..pdf  Hosted on Acast.
